A virtual assistant (VA) provides administrative, technical or creative services. They are independent contractors utilizing advanced technological mediums of data delivery and communication. Professional VAs will assist their clients in their area of expertise from their own home or office on a contractual basis.
They are similar to the usual corporate assistants or secretaries in a corporate environment but they are “virtual,” which means that they work remotely from you. You can pay them through bank deposit, money transfer or Paypal. Their schedule may be flexible but their payment is based solely on the volume of work that was done.
