Firefox Goes 3.5

The much loved web browser that has taken the web monopoly out of the much used Internet Explorer has turned version 3.5 when release candidates have been released even as their version 3.0.11 was for distribution. The newest installment is overall way better than the previous ones but they are having to face another problem and it isn’t IE yet, it’s other open-sourced browsers that have made their entry into the web. From Google’s Chrome, Apple’s Safari and of course Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, they are sharing the web they used to own over IE and they are feeling it. The improvements they have included with the latest release is being received well but time will tell if it will retain it’s grip on most of the web browsing crowd.
Innovation is the key and they have loaded the newest release with some nifty ones that would most surely be added to IE as it ships with Windows 7 this coming October. The internet is becoming as diverse as the people who use it and it has gone into places where it was never meant to go, mobile. These nifty gadgets have gotten better and more powerful and we just love them, snapping up each and every model that comes out. With mobile phones came mobile browsers that gives the same browsing capability as their desktop-based computers. The internet is sure to expand more in the coming years, till the cloud takes shape and all web applications get put in there where it will stay along with every thing else, if they can find a unified solution to deploy it fully.
