Offshoring
Offshoring is an online activity that has been increasingly popular with companies. Offshoring is when the business functions of a corporation is done in another country and is done to reduce labor expenses. Companies also choose to offshore when they want to enter new markets, tap into talents that are unavailable in their country, or to overcome certain regulations that prevent certain activities in their area. The internet and its telecommunications capacity allowed companies to have computer-based work done anywhere in the world, particularly in India and the Philippines because of their excellent English-speaking skills.
